As President Government & Defence, Mick leads a 600-strong team to deliver warehousing and distribution services for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) at more than 20 sites across Australia.
Mick joined Linfox in 2015 after 37 years of service with the Australian Army where he held senior roles in training, operations, human resource management and the planning and execution of organisational change.
In 2006, he commanded and coordinated the International Stabilisation Force in East Timor. Led by the ADF, the mission restored peace and stability to a country that had suffered a breakdown of civil authority and order. In 2011, he was appointed by then Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh to lead the Queensland Reconstruction Authority, responsible for rebuilding Queensland’s infrastructure and communities after the devastating floods and Tropical Cyclone Yasi.
He is a graduate of the United States Army War College, the Australian Joint Services Staff College, the Army Staff College Queenscliff, University of Southern Queensland and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds Masters Degrees in Strategic Studies and Business Administration.
