In 2020, Linfox joined industry heavyweights to extend its commitment to health and wellbeing to the entire road transport sector.
Linfox joined long-standing customers Woolworths, Coles, Australia Post and other transport providers as founding members in partnership with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) to fund the inception and development of Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Foundation (HHTS).
HHTS is a registered not-for-profit charitable Foundation, and its board of directors is voluntary and independent.
Linfox founder, Lindsay Fox is Patron of the Foundation. CEO Linfox Logistics Australia and New Zealand, Mark Mazurek is a founding board member.
HHTS plans to connect everyone in the industry with mental health and wellbeing resources, training and insights, regardless of the size of their organisation.
The Foundation will deliver a three-year Industry Blueprint Strategy, National Framework, Guidelines and Charter for Psychological Safety for road transport and logistics.
As part of this, member organisations will be able to carry out a self-accreditation process based on a maturity model of best practice approaches to psychological safety.
The vision of the Foundation is to ensure resources are made accessible right across the industry.
