Linfox was thrilled to join longstanding customer, The Arnott’s Group to celebrate the opening of its $65 million‑dollar automated DC in Huntingwood, NSW.
The impressive new 43,000 square-metre warehouse of the future can accommodate 28,000 pallets – almost four times the site’s previous capacity – and was constructed with a sophisticated ‘one-touch’ logistics solution, leveraging robotics and automation.
With the Group’s largest biscuit site right next door, the new western Sydney logistics hub will facilitate its Australian expansion and international growth.
Run by Linfox’s experienced Consumer and Healthcare Group, the facility will serve as a thoroughfare for more than 60 per cent of the Group’s national inventory, backed by technology and a strategic location set to deliver significant operational savings.
The opening was also attended by local MP and Member for Prospect, Dr Hugh McDermott, together with Elders from the Deerubbin Aboriginal Land Council, the Group’s executives and many valued suppliers, including CEO Linfox ANZ, Mark Mazurek and other Linfox senior leaders. Mark spoke to the strength of the long-term logistics partnership:
“Linfox is proud to be a key partner of The Arnott’s Group in Australia and New Zealand.
“Our shared commitment to safe, sustainable and better ways of working has been the cornerstone of our relationship, and together we have created industry leading environments and solutions for our teams.
“We look forward to continuing the success of the Huntingwood facility and supporting The Arnott’s Group into the future.”
