Course description:
A correctly loaded vehicle is critical in ensuring the safety of the driver and other road users.
This course has been designed for participants with little to no knowledge in the subject. Participants will be provided with theory and concepts of how to secure a load to a vehicle, including the mass limits, legislation, and the relationship it has with Chain of Responsibility.
Practical training using load restraint equipment is not part of the original course offering; however, it may be negotiated on request providing load restraint resources are made available.

- Vehicle dimensions (length/width)
- Friction coefficient
- Restraint methods (direct, tie-down etc.)
