Why I am proud of what we do
When you experience important milestones such as our recent Linfox Driver Academy graduation events, it really hits home the positive impact we have on people’s lives.
Our Linfox Driver Academy creates pathways for our people to join the driving profession, whether it be via attaining their first Heavy Rigid licence or an upgrade to their existing licence, all with the support of our passionate, dedicated and highly experienced Linfox Driver Academy team.
I am proud of our Linfox Driver Academy for the important role it plays in helping our people discover their passion for the driving profession, and the important role we play in developing our people to be safe, professional and highly respected drivers.
When speaking to our recent graduates, it was evident they all shared the same excitement and pride for the driving profession. Many of our graduates have significant tenure with Linfox, with many being experienced warehouse team members. Our Graduates were visibly energised by the opportunity to expand their skills and experience enabling them to work across both our warehouse and transport operations.
To acknowledge and recognise our new drivers, graduation events were recently held in Victoria and New South Wales, attended by our CEO, Executive, Senior Leader and Site Leadership Teams. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our graduates on this important milestone and wish them well for a safe, long term and fulfilling driving career.
As we get ready for another big year for The Linfox Driver Academy in 2025, I am excited to introduce you to one of our most recent graduates.
Cassandra Wright
Cassandra Wright obtained her Heavy Rigid license via The Linfox Driver Academy.
“I’ve been working at Linfox for about two years. The first year I was driving a forklift in a warehouse, and as soon as I heard about the Linfox Driver Academy, I jumped at the chance.
“Throughout the Driver Academy program, I’ve been given lots of opportunities to learn techniques from different trainers. Everyone is supportive and helpful. I love it.”
The Linfox Warehouse Academy

At Linfox, we are passionate about what we do.
We recently launched our Linfox Warehouse Academy, which seeks to attract new team members to our industry who are eager to learn, grow and take on a new opportunity within the supply chain and logistics industry.
The Linfox Warehouse Academy delivers a hands-on training experience within a real work environment. The intensive 5-day program equips team members with essential warehousing skills, including operating various manual handling equipment, manual handling techniques, and practical tasks such as stacking, picking, wrapping and counting stock. Additionally, team members are trained in hazard identification and control.
Our inaugural program kicked off on the 14th of October in Brisbane and was a tremendous success, supported by our Government and Defence, BevChain, and Resources and Industrial Business Units. Following graduation, seven individuals, six of whom are women, enthusiastically embarked on their new careers within the supply chain and logistics industry.
Originating from diverse backgrounds, many team members had never worked in a warehouse environment before. Initially, team members faced some uncertainty, however their confidence grew as the program progressed.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Linfox team members who played a significant role in supporting our newest Linfox Warehouse Academy team members. The care and support provided to our team members was evident and is a reflection of our Together, Stronger culture.
I look forward to personally welcoming our 2025 Warehouse Academy participants, and continuing to create opportunities for people to experience firsthand our exciting and dynamic industry. And finally, I would like to introduce you to one of our Warehouse Academy team members.
