Dexion has successfully completed a high-profile installation for Linfox, at the Kemps Creek, New South Wales site.
In a testament to Dexion’s commitment to quality, efficiency and adaptability, this project was executed under tight timelines and complex site conditions, setting a new standard for streamlined, large-scale industrial installations.
With work commencing in July 2024, Dexion successfully completed the installation by September that same year. This project marks a new chapter in Dexion’s long-standing relationship with Linfox, illustrating the strength of a trusted partnership in the face of challenging timelines and complex requirements delivering outcomes that elevate industry standards.
To meet the project’s rigorous demands over a three month period, the Dexion team coordinated the delivery equivalent to 47 semi-trailers of materials across 29 days. Running up to 20 seasoned installers at peak times, the team executed every step with precision and safety, delivering an incident-free installation that underscores Dexion’s commitment to safety and project execution.
Linfox project’s scale and complexity required a multifaceted approach to installation and logistics.
Key components:
- 38,446 Pallet Locations installed to support 1,250 kg capacity per location, providing Linfox with high-density storage capability for operational efficiency.
- Security cage of approximately 200 square meters, equipped with rapid rise roller doors, enhancing on-site security and accessibility.
- Mesh decked Longspan shelving, allowing flexibility and additional storage solutions tailored to Linfox’s diverse requirements.
- Front and rear upright protection throughout the facility, safeguarding equipment, inventory, and personnel.
In alignment with Linfox’s sustainability goals, the supply of Dexion’s pallet racking materials are from a manufacturing facility that is certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council. Recognised under the category “Building Operations and Maintenance: Existing Buildings”, this achievement signifies Dexion’s commitment to sustainable practices, contributing to global efforts in combating climate change and promoting resource conservation.
