Linfox’s multi-modal freight facility in Regency Park, Adelaide has achieved a 5 Green Star Design and As Built certified rating representing Australian excellence.
“This second Green Star certification is another significant milestone for Linfox as we continue to lead the industry with sustainability initiatives. This follows on from Linfox earning the coveted Climate Active carbon neutral certification in 2023 for our Willawong, Queensland site.
“Linfox’s decarbonisation journey is grounded in transitioning our fleet to renewable-energy options along with creating sustainable logistic facilities,” said Linfox Manager Environmental Sustainability, Ruby Diaz
“Regency Park spans more than 65,000 square metres and was designed and built with sustainability at the forefront. Considerable environmental planning and development for this mega-site now provides an integrated ecosystem that captures and stores energy to power the site and charge an ever-growing electric fleet. This is the blueprint for future Linfox sites.”
The Regency Park facility is strategically located on a major railhead servicing east to west on the rail line and also the Aurizon Adelaide to Darwin line.

Regency Park stores and distributes goods for Linfox customers across grocery, consumer goods, hardware, healthcare, apparel and parcel freight.
This is one of a number of strategically located railhead sites designed to encourage the road to rail transition for some major customers.
The Green Building Council of Australia assess and award Green Star certification via an independent, third-party assessor, who rates a building, fitout or precinct.
