BevChain’s impressive distribution centre (DC) in Laverton, Victoria has been officially launched with Linfox Founder Lindsay Fox AC and the Fox family.
The purpose-built, sustainable facility successfully went live in April to support growing customer demand in the beverage industry.
In attendance were members of the Fox family; Linfox Founder, Lindsay Fox AC; Executive Chairman Linfox Pty Ltd, Peter Fox AM and Managing Director of Linfox Property Group Andrew Fox; as well as Minister for Ports and Freight the Honourable Melissa Horne MP; State Member for Laverton Sarah Connolly MP; CEO Linfox Australia and New Zealand, Mark Mazurek; Linfox President BevChain and New Zealand, Misha Shliapnikoff; and CEO and Managing Director of Australian Logistics Council, Dr Hermione Parsons.

The Laverton supersite is almost double the capacity of the previous Victorian site and the largest in the Linfox portfolio, with 70,000 square metres of space built to support up to 72,000 ambient and temperature-controlled pallets for customers from 14 major beverage brands and suppliers with scope to accommodate other customers in the future.

“This brand new 70,000 square metre facility also demonstrates our absolute commitment to the environment. It is designed and built to achieve a 5 Star Green Star certification from the Green Building Council of Australia and shows how we can make a difference by ensuring we leave the environment in a better condition than the way we found it.”
The facility was built in partnership with Linfox Property Group and construction partner Qanstruct and adds to Linfox’s growing property footprint to support customer growth and demand.
