New Zealand optimises offering with new fleet

Linfox New Zealand has invested in new fleet with the latest safety and technological features to ensure drivers and freight are protected throughout the supply chain.

Modern prime movers, rigids and trailers make up the new fleet, which enhances our capabilities to deliver efficient and reliable logistics services for our New Zealand customers and communities.

President BevChain and New Zealand, Misha Shliapnikoff explains, the new fleet will support more efficient and effective operations and freight movement.

“Linfox is securing growth in the New Zealand business. By consistently upgrading our fleet with the latest safety and technological features we are ensuring drivers and freight are protected throughout the supply chain.

“Upgrading our fleet has also allowed us to optimise our pallet configuration and improve our operational performance. This allows us to provide greater levels of service for our customers, including increased visibility, operational efficiency and timely deliveries.

“The newly acquired fleet is also aligned to Linfox’s decarbonisation journey. Over a 100 kilometre distance, the vehicles will achieve around a 22 per cent reduction in fuel consumption efficiency and CO2 emissions, helping Linfox and our customers reduce their carbon footprint,” said Misha.

Reliable transport solutions

For major customer Woolworths the new fleet has further strengthened trust in Linfox.

Primary Connect, General Manager of Logistics NZ, Graeme Doull said: “Our Woolworths customers depend on us for our on the road safety and reliability. With Linfox’s new fleet, our freight is kept safe and secure on the road while in transit from our distribution centres to stores. Linfox has consistently proven that we can rely on them to do this.”

“Plus, the trucks look great on the road with Woolworths branding!” he said.

Additionally, Linfox has recently extended its transport partnership with Woolworths in Victoria and invested in an additional 47 units to begin operating in mid-2025.
