Linfox Thailand has invested in specialised compact refrigerated vehicles designed to meet the growing demand for efficient cold chain distribution for highly perishable items across Thailand.
Fitted with advanced temperature-control technology to maintain precise temperatures ranging from 0°C to -25°C, frozen products arrive at their destinations in optimal condition.
The 2.1m refrigerated containers provide uniform cooling throughout, while small side doors facilitate quick and efficient unloading. This reduces exposure to temperature fluctuations and preserving product quality.
With each vehicle equipped with an electric standby power source, the refrigeration system keeps running even during unloading when the engine is off, ensuring the cold chain remains unbroken from start to finish.
“These smaller sized vehicles navigate Bangkok’s dense, urban environment with ease. With improved mobility, Linfox’s refrigerated fleets can access retail locations that may be difficult for larger trucks to reach. This flexibility reduces transit times, a critical factor for maintaining the frozen integrity of ice cream during delivery,” said Linfox Thailand Country Manager, Raymond Gillon.
Linfox’s Control Tower monitors the vehicles via GPS-tracked in real time to ensure that temperatures remain stable at every stage of the journey, reducing vehicle dwell time at collection and delivery points via alert notifications. Custom dashboards offer continuous temperature updates, with deviations flagged for immediate action. FoxTrax optimises delivery routes, improving efficiency and ensuring products arrive in perfect condition.
