Linfox Operations Manager, Noah Heldt received the Rising Star Award at the 2024 Australian Logistics Council (ALC) Supply Chain Summit Awards in May.
The Rising Star Award recognises individuals who, despite their relatively short industry tenure, embody commitment and success.
At just 22 years of age, Noah is the Operations Manager for Linfox’s largest cold chain distribution centre (DC) in Western Australia. Managed on behalf of Bega Group, the DC operates 24 hours a day, six days a week and employs more than 50 people.
Linfox National Business Manager, Consumer and Healthcare Group, David Lancashire, nominated Noah for his contribution to Linfox.
“Noah is instrumental in driving process improvement changes and energising his team,” said David.
“He has built strong relationships with the customer and internal stakeholders, who he engages with through workshops and meetings, to understand complexities, challenges and desired outcomes.”
In recent months, Noah contributed to a joint Linfox Bega improvement project, which helped to reduce the risk of injury onsite and led to ongoing efficiency gains.
He also developed and implemented a new rostering tool, which streamlined workflows between the adjacent manufacturing plant and the DC.
“Noah’s attention to detail, and his relentless drive to challenge conventional practices has positively impacted Bega and Linfox outcomes on site,” said David.
“He has an innate ability to develop innovative solutions for challenging problems, and then bring his team along on the journey.”

The ALC is the peak national body representing major companies participating in Australia’s end-to-end supply chain.
