BevChain has celebrated the grand opening of its first Thai distribution centre (DC), an enormous facility set to expand delivery capability for customers across Thailand and the neighbouring Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam regions.
The new facility in Pathum Thani Province’s Lad Lum Kaew District was opened by Board Chairman, Boon Rawd Supply Chain Co Ltd, Piti Bhirombhakdi and Executive Chairman Linfox Pty Ltd, Peter Fox AM, alongside Australian Ambassador to Thailand, Dr. Angela Macdonald PSM, and 200 distinguished guests.
“This investment by the BevChain board shows its commitment to the Thailand beverage market,” said Managing Director BevChain Thailand, Drew Franklin.
The modern Lad Lum Kaew DC is a productivity game changer for BevChain, significantly increasing its daily product distribution volumes, improving transport efficiency and streamlining costs.
“A pillar of the BevChain network’s future growth and development, this facility is set to benefit new and existing customers,” said Drew.
At more than 30,000 square meters, the DC sits in a key gateway with access to central, north and northeastern Thailand, with throughput of around one million cartons per day to various locations throughout the country.

Major investment in the latest logistics technology in line with global warehouse management standards includes the Infor Cloud Warehouse Management System, boosting customer inventory management efficiency.
The site uses transport management and weighbridge systems and data to streamline the transport process,,lowering costs and assuring safe, and compliant freight delivery of customer freight.
It also includes a world-class fleet service centre to ensure BevChain vehicles have quick and expert access to servicing, maintenance and repairs, along with a state-of-the-art truck wash.
The 1,400-square-metre temperature controlled zone has capacity to host a bonded warehouse, expanding the customer offering and creating scalable solutions for future growth.
To reduce carbon footprint, environmental sustainability features include smart LED lighting to reduce energy use and cost (illuminating work areas only when required), and sustainable water management measures like rainwater collection and reuse to supply various site water sources, including the truck wash.
The site is solar-ready, with initial energy data set to inform optimum solar panel installation in coming months.
