Linfox Operational Training provides accredited and non-accredited training to Linfox employees across Australia.
Non-accredited training has been tailored to meet Linfox’s operational needs and align with all company standards. Courses range from company inductions, safe work procedures on various types of equipment, defensive driving, manual handling, fatigue awareness, train the trainer and many more.
Being an approved Registered Training Organisation as well as an approved licence provider allows us to provide nationally recognised accredited training to our people. This training empowers our people to make improvements within their workplace, opens up opportunities for further education and career development and provides national recognition to under skilled workers.

To ensure high standards are met, Linfox Operational Training operates a certified quality management system which complies with International Standards Organisation (ISO9001) standards. These standards cover the design, development and provision of approved training courses for heavy vehicle and high-risk work licensing in the designated states.

Certificate III in Logistics
Greg has worked in the transport and logistics industry for more than 16 years in various roles, including as a heavy vehicle operator, shift manager and operations manager. Greg holds a vast array of qualifications, including a Certificate III in Transport and Distribution, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Management.
James’ 18 years of industry experience ranges from driving to operations management, and almost everything in between. With four years of training experience, James draws upon his vast work history to impart practical skills and knowledge to learners. James has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma in Training Design and Development.
Glen has more than 47 years’ experience in the Transport and Logistics industry and has been with Linfox Operational Training for more than 12 years. Glen holds a swag of qualifications, including a Certificate III in Driving Operations, a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, a Certificate III in Logistics, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate IV in Transport and Storage, and a Diploma of Training and Assessment. Glen’s passion for training extends to his volunteer work with the CFS, where for more than two decades, he has support the organisation’s training focus around dangerous goods, firefighting and incident management.
Cristy has more than 17 years’ experience within the transport and logistics industry and has been responsible for the design and development of a large range of accredited and non-accredited operational training and assessment packages. Cristy holds a Certificate III in Driving Operations and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Carol is a qualified quality auditor and has more than 25 years’ experience in quality management and RTO Compliance. Carol is responsible for ensuring the team’s compliance with the regulatory requirements of ASQA and State Regulators and maintains the team’s accreditation for Quality Management System to ISO9001:2015.
Simon has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction, transport and logistics industry. Simon is qualified and has extensive experience in operating forklifts, bob cats, tankers, heavy haulage floats, trucks with dog combinations, B-double tippers and containers on skels. Simon holds Workplace Health and Safety Queensland accreditation to deliver forklift training and assessment.
Matthew has more than 15 years’ experience working in transport and logistics training and holds a Diploma in Training and Assessment. Matthew gained experience in the PUD sector with StarTrack Express before moving to Border Express as a trainer, where he enhanced his experience with dangerous goods and working with bulk and palletised loads. Matthew’s passion is passing on knowledge to his learners, enabling them to provide more value to their current positions, and pursue new opportunities in their careers.
Frank has worked in the heavy vehicle industry for more than 35 years, including 17 years as a trainer. Frank has accreditation with Roads and Maritime Services NSW as a Heavy Vehicle Licence assessor and his extensive experience provides a rich education environment for learners.
Stephen has more than 15 years’ experience in the transport industry and has worked as a trainer for 14 of those years. Stephen delivers heavy vehicle licence training and assessing and high risk work training to learners from all walks of life. With industry qualifications ranging from a Certificate II, III and IV in warehousing, driver operations and logistics, it is no surprise that operators and managers alike across the business, turn to Stephen for advice and guidance.
Terry joined Linfox as a driver in 1989 and in 1992, became one of the company’s first buddy trainers. Terry joined the Linfox Operational Training team eight years ago. His people skills, communication skills and reliability are noticed in the business as he is often called upon specifically by sites to come out and fulfil their training needs. Terry enjoys classroom presentations, driver recruitment and maintaining site requirements for training compliance.
Wayne has over 20 years’ experience in the transport and logistics industry and began his career as a medium rigid driver at the age of 18. After two decades of driving and after undertaking the role of Operations and Compliance Manager for a small transport company, Wayne joined the Linfox Operational Training team and became an accredited VicRoads licence assessor. Wayne is people oriented and process driven and takes great satisfaction in building a candidate’s confidence, particularly when they haven’t driven a heavy vehicle before.
Malcolm joined the Linfox Operational Training team in late 2015 with more than 20 years’ experience in warehousing and storage. Malcolm has held many roles in his career, from forklift operator to store person, leading hand, team leader and team manager. Malcolm holds a Heavy Combination licence, a Certificate III in Transport and Distribution, is a Comcare qualified Work Health and Safety representative and has completed a Diploma level unit in Work Health and Safety investigation.
Justin has worked in the Transport and Logistics industry for more than 36 years. With more than nine of these years in training, Justin transitioned from a Buddy Trainer role with Linfox into a full-time training position within Linfox Operational Training in 2014. Leveraging his Certificate III in Transport and Logistics, Justin draws upon the skills and knowledge he developed through his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to provide value to the business.
Kieran joined Linfox with a strong management background in training, working in computer systems training, induction training, and driver training. Kieran has attained an impressive list of qualifications including a Certificate IV in Driving Instruction, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate III in Driving Operations, and is working towards his Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations.
