Sagar has nearly 15 years’ experience in logistics, with commercially-driven skills and experience in operations across transportation, warehousing and building positive customer relationships.
His strengths in finance and commerce include financial process improvement, strategy building and budget management.
Sagar has been with the Linfox family since 2018 when he joined as Financial Controller. His financial and accounting expertise combined with his insights and ability to build high-performing local logistics outcomes earned him the ‘Certification of Nomination to Chairman’s Award’ for Individual Excellence 2021.
Sagar began his career as an Article Trainee at Rajen Damani & Associates where he gained understanding of corporate finance.
In 2003 he joined Reliance Communications Ltd. as an executive and progressed to Money Reconciliation Head of Mumbai Circle. In 2006, he joined Dheeraj & East Coast LLC as Manager – Accounts and MIS where he expanded his knowledge from finance and accounting to the commercial sphere in the Middle East. In 2008, he joined Mahindra Logistics Ltd. as Commercial Manager and progressed to Deputy General Manager for Special Projects (Finance), forming part of the core team that managed the Mahindra Logistics PE induction and Initial Public Offer (IPO). For nearly 10 years, he built his knowledge and insights in logistics.
Sagar holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University, and was an MBA candidate at ICFAI University (Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India).
