As President Corporate Services, Doug leads the Linfox Logistics Safety, Health and Wellbeing, Corporate Communications, Compliance, Telematics, Risk and Workers’ Compensation teams across Australia and New Zealand.
Doug joined Linfox in 2018 as President Government and Defence, managing warehousing and distribution services for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) across Australia and multiple state governments.
During his time in the role, Doug led the Government and Defence team through periods of great complexity, including the COVID response, severe floods and bushfires.
He continues to build high performing, cohesive teams that deliver optimal outcomes for Linfox and its customers.
Prior to Linfox, Doug dedicated 33 years of service to Victoria Police where he held senior roles in divisions including Organised Crime, Covert and Intelligence, Counter Terrorism and Regional Operations.
In 2015, Doug was appointed Assistant Commissioner in charge of Road Policing, where he engaged and partnered with state and federal governments to deliver road safety outcomes.
In these roles, Doug was responsible for the delivery of $100 million in strategic investments, including a new drug and alcohol bus fleet, the expansion of randomised drug testing and the fit out of automated number plate recognition in all highway patrol vehicles.
He was awarded the Australian Police Medal, the National Police Service Medal and the Victorian Police Service Medal for his contributions to the force and the community.
Doug has an Executive Masters’ degree in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership.
