Greg Thomas – Chief Executive Officer, Linfox International Group

Greg Thomas is Chief Executive Officer of Linfox International Group (LIG) and a member of the company’s board of directors. Greg manages corporate direction and strategy at Linfox International Group, with the overall goal of streamlining customers’ supply chain to operate more efficiently and effectively.

Greg is focused on strengthening LIG’s service offering, while also working to lead the transformation of supply chain management through digitalisation and innovation.
Greg joined Linfox in 1995 after several years working in audit and advisory roles at KPMG. At Linfox, he had worked with the Resources and Industrial business unit before transferring to the FMCG team in 2008.

In 2014, Greg was appointed President of the FMCG business. In this role, he led several significant strategic initiatives. He formulated and executed the Linfox Healthcare strategy, significantly broadening its customer base and value-added services, increasing capabilities and improving quality. This led to an eightfold increase in revenue and the recognition of Linfox as a top tier healthcare logistics provider in Australia.

In 2016, Greg led the development of Linfox’s eCommerce and fulfilment strategy which changed the way Linfox did business by offering customers new channels to market.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Science in Supply Chain from the University of Denver. He has also completed the Executive Education Program at the Darden School of Management at the University of Virginia.
