Arnott’s and Linfox have worked together since 2004 and a one team approach is delivering results.
Arnott’s Logistics controllers and the Linfox management team have highlighted recent improvement strategies as well as future ideas and plans for continuous improvement.
Linfox CEO, Michael Byrne said, “Since 2004, when we began working with Arnott’s we have cooperated closely to develop an understanding of the supply chain requirements and planned for continued improvement. These presentations are another step in developing our great relationship with Arnott’s.”
Areas of improvement have included safety, adding value to the supply chain and improving teamwork.
Some key gains included relocating a warehouse in WA, building a cool-room and racking without any service disruptions; gaining more business in SA and reducing costs; improving real time inventory nationally; cost avoidance in Direct Store Deliveries reroute and improved productivity; and reduction of pallet costs.
