Lean Six Sigma is focusing Linfox leaders on improved operations.

Around 170 leaders from around the business will take part in the Lean Six Sigma course over the next year. It will be delivered by the Australian Graduate School of Management.

The course is a combined approach that focuses on providing problem solving tools to improve processes and collaborative tools to engage the right stakeholders at the right time.

Peter Buriani, Business Improvement Manager said, “The course provides managers with a practical set of analytical tools to assess operations and identify improvements.”

The course highlights different areas where waste and duplication can occur and offers solutions that reduce time and cost without sacrificing quality.

Lean Six Sigma is initially being introduced in Linfox’s FMCG Business Unit. Kathryn Fagg, President Business Development said, “I encourage all my leaders to participate in Lean Six Sigma. I believe the benefits for our business and our customers will be significant.”
