Linfox provides BOC with a state-of-the-art delivery fleet for bottled gas supply in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Darwin.
Linfox’s National Manager Gas, Albert Davidson said the partnership focuses on continuous improvement and the highest levels of safety.
“Specially customised B-double tautliner trailers are being designed for BOC’s gas cylinder testing centre at Wetherill Park in Sydney,” said Albert.
“The B-double will operate a loop through major east coast centres to ensure regular deliveries and cylinder checking while maximising vehicle utilisation.”
The new trailers will be able to double stack cylinder pallets to feed BOC’s rigorous checking and repair regime.
The tautliners also protect cylinders from the elements en route to ensure BOC customers receive spotless products.
New mini combination tankers, another addition to the fleet, optimise fleet utilisation by delivering a range of products to the market with each trip.
