Developing careers

Linfox has identified the development of its people as one of its key priorities. To enhance this, the company is targeting young people to join our business.

Linfox’s Organisational and People Development (O&PD) team members have attended several career expositions to offer information about Linfox’s development programs.

The RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) Career Expo offered a great opportunity with roughly 2,500 students visiting Linfox’s stall. The team received support from current graduates.

The O&PD team focused on students finishing studies in a wide range of disciplines, including Supply Chain Management, International Business or Logistics Management and Engineering.

The team also targeted possible contenders for the Graduate Program at the University of Western Sydney Career Expo and exhibited at the WRICA (Wyndham Region Incorporated Careers Association) Career and Employment Expo in Victoria to promote the Linfox Cadet Program.

This year the Linfox Graduate Program employed 13 Australian and six graduates from Asia for the first time. 2011 also saw the intake of 12 cadets across six sites in Victoria.

With more expositions in Sydney and Melbourne to follow the team is focused on making Linfox an employer of choice for cadets and graduates.
