Linfox’s work with Bunnings has spread across the Tasman to New Zealand.
Linfox has worked with leading home improvements retailer, Bunnings in Australia since 2008. The Linfox fleet is specially designed to provide flexibility and space to handle the varying dimensions of Bunnings’ pallets in the safest and most efficient configurations.
Linfox was recently awarded the distribution contract for Bunnings stores in New Zealand.
Damien Grace, Linfox’s Vice President Retail Consumer Group said that his team worked closely with Bunnings to develop hydraulically operated drop-deck mezzanine trailers to provide the most cost effective and flexible solution.
“The New Zealand work will involve local deliveries and linehaul work from the Bunnings DC in Auckland. This supplies 45 stores across the North and South islands of New Zealand,” he said.
An Australasian Linfox team of 50 operates a fleet of more than 30 vehicles to supply Bunnings’ warehouses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and now New Zealand.
