Members of an Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) study tour recently visited a number of operating sites in Australia, including two Linfox sites in Melbourne.
The tour took in Linfox’s Coles’ regional DC and Foster’s DC in Melbourne.

Michael Gilsenan, Linfox’s Vice President Resources & Industrial hosted the tour. “APEC members were very interested to learn about our state-of-the-art systems for operating high volume warehouses and transport systems,” Michael said.

“We were pleased to explain some of the details of how we achieve greater efficiencies for our customers by using smart IT and designing supply chain operations to suit unique circumstances.”

“Many Asian businesses are rapidly adapting more sophisticated systems to meet the strong growth in consumer demand in their countries.”
