Dated –05-09-2008

Announcement from Heather Williams, Group Manager - Workplace Safety, Operational Training and Compliance

It is with great pleasure I announce the appointment of Rocky Armstrong as Asia Pacific Safety Manager.

Rocky commences his new role on 15 September. He joined Linfox in 2003 as Southern Region Return to Work Manager where he was responsible for bringing injured employees back to work safely.

Last year Rocky was appointed Safety Manager Linehaul and played a pivotal role in the remarkable 86 per cent reduction in the Business Unit’s lost time injury frequency rate. He established himself as a natural leader capable of effecting rapid change and improvement.

Rocky has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Diploma of Business and a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and is currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration.

Rocky is committed to Vision Zero and will continue to lead safety improvements across the business. He will remain responsible for his current role at Linehaul until a replacement is appointed.

We wish Rocky every success in his new role.

Rocky replaces Tony Duhne, who leaves on 12 September to join Lynas Corporation based in Sydney.

Tony was instrumental in establishing Vision Zero, which has driven substantial cultural change and safety improvement at Linfox. We thank Tony for his contribution and wish him and his family all of the best for the future.
