The Foundation also recently partnered with other donors to fund a $1.2 million renovation at Sacred Heart Mission in St Kilda in Melbourne.
Lending our support
Linfox provides in-kind services to a number of organisations. We recently helped Melbourne Zoo celebrate its 150th anniversary, transporting 50 elephant sculptures to landmarks around Melbourne.
In 2012, Linfox Chairman Peter Fox chaired the Prime Minister’s Olympic Dinner, raising a record $2 million to support the Australian Olympic Team at the London Olympics. Peter has also been an executive member of the Alfred Hospital Foundation since 2001.
Linfox provides financial support and in-kind logistical services to communities affected by natural disasters, including people impacted by the 2009 Victorian Black Saturday bushfires and the 2011 floods in Thailand, Queensland and Victoria.
In December 2012 Linfox partnered with the Australian Red Cross and Lions Clubs of Australia to transport emergency supplies to bushfire affected communities in New South Wales and Tasmania.
